    モバイル WiFi ストレージ AirStash が日本でも発売、約1万円 


    国外では2年近く前に登場していた Wearable Inc のモバイル WiFi ストレージ AirStash が、日本でも日立マクセルから発売されました。あらためて紹介すると、AirStash は差し込んだ SD カードに WiFi 経由でアクセスできるという機能を持ったモバイルストレージ。近頃は WiFi 機能を持った SD カードがなにかと話題ですが、こちらは、普通の SD カードをそのまま WiFi 化できるのが特長です。また、単体で WiFi のアクセスポイントとして機能するため、SD カードスロットのない端末との連携、要するに iPhone / iPad との連携に効果を発揮します。

    利用方法は PC からだと AirStash に WiFi で接続することで、ウェブブラウザから SD カード内のファイルを読み出せるというかたち。充電・転送用に USB 端子も備えているため、ふつうの SD カードアダプタとしても利用できます。また、肝心の iOS 端末には専用のアプリが提供中。Android アプリは春に登場の予定です。

    How to Make Fabric Kanzashi Flowers 

    In this tutorial you'll learn how to make this beautiful Kanzashi fabric flower. It can be attached to a purse, a shirt, a barrette or any other fashion accessory of your choice.

So, if you have 1 yard 44-45" (91.44cm) fabric and cut to 3" (7.6cm) squares, you can make 24 flowers.

    biciclista 

     Circlesのウェアのラインナップ、もしかしたらカジュアルウェアばかりだと思っていらっしゃる方も多いかも知れませんよね。

    でもね、ちゃんといろいろな国のサイクルウェアブランドも取り扱っているんですよ。
    スイスからassos、イギリスのRapha、アメリカからはPearl Izumi USAとTWIN SIX、日本はNARIFURI SPORTといろいろ揃えておりますよ。
    でもこのラインナップを見て、おや？と思われた方もいるはず。

    自転車といえば必ず出てくる国名、イタリアの名がありませんね。
    でもですね、特に避けていたわけじゃないんですよ、
    ちゃぁんと考えて時期を見計らっていたのです．．．たぶん(笑)

    というわけで今回はフロム、イタリアのサイクルウェアブランド"biciclista"がCirclesに初のお目見えという事でご紹介です。

    biciclistaはイタリア北部にあるクレモナという小さな町で製造されています。
    ジャージというとどうしてもレース志向の強いブランドが多いなか、biciclistaは勝つ為だけではなく自転車を楽しむ全ての人に向けてアイテムをリリースしています。
    ツーリングに出かけたり、MTBで野山を駆け回ったり、海岸線の海を眺めながらロードで気持ちよく走ったり、もちろんレースでも、いろんな楽しむ方法ありますからね。

    そんな"楽しむ"という気持ちはデザインにも表れています、てか絶対に楽しみながら作ってますよ、これ。
    Circlesでは人気の定番ラインナップのTWIN SIXや昨年登場のニューカマーNARIFURI SPORTともまた違った雰囲気を醸し出しています。
    デザインといってもやはり作り手が違えばその顔も違います。

    で、どんな顔をしてるかっていうとこんな方々。

    こ、これは、あ、あれですね、火星の民！
    ビビビ〜〜！
    てやられたらたちまち骨だけになって朽ち果ててしまいます。
    こわやこわや。


    まぁパロディってやつですね。笑
    "MA◯Z"ではなく"LOBOS"となっておりますがこれは"LOS LOBOS"というまだ新しいイタリアの自転車乗ってなんでも楽しもうぜ！的な、近いとこでいえば"NUTS!"みたいな感じの集まりの名称です。

    "NICE RACE,WE'LL TAKE IT!"なんて言っておきながら背中には
    レース中、後ろを走ってるひとに向けて、
    "DOBBIAMO CANCELLARLI"、お前達を排除する！

    ま、僕はそんなの背中背負いながら走りたくないですけどね。
    でも、欲しい．．．


    続いてはこちら。

    打って変わってこちらはレトロモダン？な、その名の通り70'Sを意識したお洒落モデル。
    どうやら世代的にその頃が青春時代だったようです。

    これが意外にもCirclesスタッフに好評！？
    でも自分で着るわけじゃなく誰に似合うとか着て欲しいとかそんな感じのようです。
    そういうことね、と納得。


    どんどんいきましょう！

    なんだかこちらも不思議な、独特な世界観のデザイン。
    自転車が自分にとっての宇宙の中心ならば．．．的なもので、
    ORME.TVという自転車をこよなく愛するアーティストとのコラボレーションモデル。

    ちなみにこの"ORME.TV"と"LOS LOBOS"の名はけっこう他のジャージにもついています。


    こちらもそう。

    29ERを愛する人は是非！
    でも普通にかっこいいです。
    タイヤのサイズは気にせずに、かっこいいと思ったら是非！
    でもジャージと体のサイズは気にしましょうね！笑



    で、これがスタッフ内で一番人気！そして着たいとの声が高いモデル！
    そりゃぁね、POEWR BEE．．．ですもんね。

    背中にも瓶が常備されています！笑


    こちらはちょっとレーシーなデザインです。

    こちらはbiciclistaとLOS LOBOSの、クラシックレースの一つベルギーの"ロンド・ファン・フラーンデレン"一般参加レース用の記念モデル。胸にはベルギーを思わせるライオンの紋章が。
    かっちょいいです！

    こちらのみレーサーカットとなっておりシルエットもよりタイトになり、しかもライディングポジションをとり易い独自のパターンを仕様したものです。
    着てみるとこんな感じ．．．
    にはなれんでしょうな、僕では。




    ではでは続いてレディースをご紹介。


    小花柄がホワイトとブラックの二色。
    花柄好きな僕としては外せないところ、どうせだったらメンズでもリリースして欲しいくらいです。


    もう一つ、こちらも花柄。

    花柄といってもこちらはちょっとリアルなタッチのもの。
    デザインはこちらもORME.TVのもの。

    そしてお揃いのスカートもあります。

    Portlandからやってきた今年一番のギミック、Retro Shift

    フロントシングル用の"ONE"はこんな見た目になります。
    シフトワイヤーの角度も絶妙でクール。

    リリース前から話題になっていた、Tektroのブレーキレバーを加工してシフトレバー台座を取り付けたそのフォルムは全く悪い意味ではなく、まさにギミック。ハイセンスです。

    Portlandで作られ、足される部品は精度・デザインともに申し分なく、主流であるTaiwan製の自転車部品に新しい価値観を提示しています。

    そのアイデアは完全にDIYで、つまりカウンターと言うことです。

    実際に動かしてみます。
    このようにブラケットを持つ位置を変えながら親指や人差し指で操作します。

    当然、動き自体にギミックはなくかなり感覚的に、自然に動かせるので特に気になりませんし、それが楽しいです。
    オートマチックではなくマニュアルな操作感です。


    "ONE"は品切れですがこちらは在庫ございます。

    このようなアイデアが生まれてきちんと形になるPortlandと言う街のペダルパワーが感じられるパーツです。

    シクロクロスシーズンはもうそろそろ終わりですが、レースだけではなく、むしろ街乗りでガシガシ使っていただきたいものです。

    性格的にCrosscheckやLong haul truckerなんかにベストマッチすると思いますよ。

    Tweet A Sound { sound + software }
    Twitterで音色パラメータのデータをやり取りできるソフトシンセ Tweet A Sound をご紹介。
    極めてシンプルなこのソフトシンセの特長は、音色パラメータを文字列に変換、それをTwitterでポストできること。もちろん、他の文字列をコピーペーストすることで音色を復元することができます。

    ご紹介といっても、最終更新は09年でストップ。残念ながらプラグには非対応でMac版だけのリリースになってしまいました。そのせいか、今ひとつTwitterで話題にはならなかったようですが、アイデアとしては面白いものだと思います。

    今では、iPad音楽ソフトの殆どが SoundCloud の公開機能を備えており、気軽な自作サウンドのシェア公開も定番の楽しみ方になりました。
    例えば過去にご紹介した Remco SoundFX Machine の様な、音楽やシンセの事など知らなくても誰でも気軽に楽しめるUIのFXマシンなどであれば、Twitterでの新しい遊びとして普及するのではと思うのですが。
